Eastern European beef bone broth

Shredded cabbage and dill give this broth an old world twist. The cabbage helps to fill you up without adding carbs.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1 chopped rib celery
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp dill
  • 1 black peppercorn Himalayan salt

Method
 

  1. In a pot, heat the broth on med heat. Add all ingredients except salt.
  2. Reduce heat to med-low or low for a bare simmer. Cook just until the veggies are tender - about 5 to 10 minutes.
  3. Discard spices. Season with salt and serve.
