Ingredients
  

  • 1 bunch parsley, coarsely chopped
  • 1 bunch kale, coarsely chopped
  • 1 bunch watercress, coarsely chopped
  • 3 stalks celery, coarsely chopped
  • 4 green onions, coarsely chopped
  • 6 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped
  • 1 6-inch (6-incinch) strip kombu
  • 2–3 quarts cold water or whole chicken broth

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a pot. Bring to a bare simmer on med-high heat.
  • Continue cooking, covered, for 20 minutes.
  • Strain broth through a fine sieve. Use the stock right away or transfer into 4, 1-quart sized jars, sealing their lids. Store up to 5 days or freeze for 6 months.
